After months of delay since the original release plan, TBS miracle workers finally back with season 4, Miracle Workers: End Times10 July. The final season of the anthology takes place in Crazy Maxwastelands where a small edge of civilization creates new life in a post-apocalyptic world. Ahead of the show’s return, TBS released a new music video.
In the last clip there is Sid (Daniel Radcliffe) as he heads for his first day at his new job. What kind of work could be done in post-apocalyptic times? Junk collector, of course. It so happened that Sid will work for Morris Rubinstein, nicknamed the Junkman (Steve Buscemi) that takes junk very seriously, even though Sid is just a “dysfunctional wastelander” meant to thank the community. Not to mention the tax benefits that Morris gets from it. As Morris takes Sid around the store, he asks if Sid knows a lot about the trash game. Sid has a pretty general understanding and thinks it’s just “buying and selling a bunch of junk.” At the same time, Morris clarifies that this is not garbage. It’s trash. An important distinction, especially when you consider that Morris built his business by starting with his first rusty trombone hanging proudly on the wall.
What else to expect from Miracle Workers: End Times
While the wonders of trash are tempting End Times let’s delve into Sid’s life - personal and professional. As for personal items, this season he will see him and his warlord wife Freya (Geraldine Viswanathan) struggle to adjust to life in the suburbs as honeymooners. Despite the hardships ahead, Sid and Freya push forward together, doing their best to find a normal life and support each other in their endeavors. The earlier clip also showed viewers getting to know a little more about Freya’s family when her incredibly wealthy parents pay her a visit. Based on the trailer for the season, it looks like something dangerous is going on in Boomtown.
miracle workers was created Simon Rich, with season 1 adapted from his novel of the same name and season 2 based on his stories. Seasons 3 and 4 opened up new stories for the series.
