Let the right one in This is a unique film about the early stages of youthful love between a kind, often mistreated boy and his new neighbor, an over 100-year-old vampire who has taken over the body of a 12-year-old girl. These are similar personalities, at the same time lonely and misunderstood, while looking for a goal and, in different ways, blood.

Unlike any other vampire movie, Let the right one in smarter, scarier and more detailed than most of these films. While in a more traditional Hollywood horror movie, things would most likely be toned down in favor of a kid-friendly rating, or incessant extreme violence would be chosen. Thomas Alfredsondirects the film with the perfect blend of horror and character.

Another King classic Pet cemetery The first two acts definitely pay off - those are the horror aspects. The cinematography and the atmosphere of the film are important, deep, mossy and almost rotten. Harsh landscapes complement bleak concepts, and the Pacific Northwest is both bleak and effective. The picture benefited from the strong performance of the entire cast, especially Russell and Plemons.

In this legendary role, Nicholson’s character’s mental collapse is played out in a chilling way. Another King adaptation done right (even if King wasn’t known to be a fan).

1 “Babadook” (2014)

Essie Davis and Noah Wiseman in bed with lights while reading a story

The story centers around a mother, her troubled child, and a book he takes off the shelf one night. However, you already know too much. This is one of those films where less knowledge will definitely pay off. Don’t even bother watching the trailer.

What’s striking about this picture is how it plays on your earliest childhood worries. Essie Davis does a great job of conveying to viewers how exhausted and exhausted her character is as a result of the horrific incidents that happened to her and her son. The theme of grief runs through the whole picture, giving the fabulous horror a sense of reality.
