The six-part series was previously described as an investigation into a botched kidnapping that unearths long-held secrets that bind the many characters and cultures of contemporary New York. The director previously described the limited series by saying, “Even by Ed’s standards, it’s complex storytelling that manages to be both kaleidoscopic and intimate.” Featuring influencers such as Danes and Beetz, a complex narrative unfolds while connecting different cultures and people. However, Soderbergh is a master at his craft, and things like this are right in his wheelhouse.

How did Soderbergh work with Max?

Soderbergh, best known in mainstream cinema as the director of a stellar film. ocean’s eleven franchise, will direct all six episodes of the series, with Ed Solomon serves as the main writer of the series. Soderbergh and Solomon will also be executive producing the upcoming project, along with Casey Silverwho had previously collaborated with them on No sudden movementwhich was released on HBO Max last year.
