10 Who said I didn’t kill anyone? (Kendall)

Kendall, Legacy Season 3

Even though it’s a hilarious sequence that includes an extended joke about OJ (no juice really), this line sounds like a great foreshadowing, as well as a reference to one of the most iconic moments of the first season.

Kendall driving subtly alludes to the fact that he actually killed someone, something the cast didn’t know about until this point, and a plot point that has major implications for the upcoming season.

9 “It’s kind of a greeting card from hell. This is the Times New Roman firing squad.” (Connor)

Kendall attempts a coup against Logan, in which both Roman and Shiv decide not to participate of their own free will. Sure enough, Shiv sends Kendall a letter, and it’s as caustic as you’d expect.

And Connor’s reaction, which is a pun you never expect to hear on any show, is just perfect. That kind of witty dialogue can only bring Legacy, and yet it does so with style in every single episode without fail.

8 “I would castrate you and marry you in the blink of an eye.” (Volume)

Tom is arguably the standout player of the third season. And while many of his lines are memorable, this one is considered one of the most poignant in retrospect, mainly because of its repercussions, and also because of who he’s talking to.

Greg and Tom have an interesting relationship that borders on a mixture of toxic and true friendship, so his decision to tell the story of Nero and Sporus seems random at first. And while the line is considered a real punchline, it’s also his statement that “knocking his wife down the stairs” foreshadows his end-of-season metaphor.

7 “I don’t want to offend you, but after being here for a while, I suspect that you will get fucked soon because I have seen you fucked many times. And I’ve never seen Logan fuck fuck once.” (Volume)

Oh. Tom’s endless quotes are one thing, and frankly, this is next-level insult. Kendall at this point needs Tom to testify against Logan to bring him down, trying to use the threat of jail time to convince him.

However, Tom has none of this, and while Tom genuinely fears said jail time, he reminds Kendall of the sad truth - that he has always failed against his father. Because Logan never loses.

6 “Just wanted you to know, the new dad just dropped.” (Roman)

Possibly one of the show’s funniest lines: Roman’s reaction to Shiv about their mother’s possible new husband is absolutely priceless. It feels like the writers here went on Twitter and took whatever slang and jokes the fandom made and put them into the show in real time.

But even more than that, it really shows Roman’s careless attitude towards everything. It’s like his mother is getting remarried and that’s his reaction? Classic novel.

5 “He ate my damn chicken. What’s next? Stick your dick in my potato salad?” (Volume)

Tom and Logan Legacy Season 2

Tom has slowly become one of the show’s best characters, and this moment at the end of the second season has probably reinforced that sentiment for many fans. This moment, which is nothing more than Tom’s power move, allows him to finally break out of his shell and gain some sort of power over his life for once.

‘Continuity’ is an honest portrait of power, because no matter who wins, we all lose.

And in true Legacy style, the line sweat from Logan is solid gold. Ironically, this is one of the few times that Logan doesn’t seek retribution - although, to be fair, that’s mostly due to Kendall’s unexpected backstab at the very end of the episode (perhaps the show’s most shocking cliffhanger).

4 “I heard it was like a cry for help. “Dance of the Sugar Plum Failure”. (Roman)

The novel gets more and more vicious as this particular episode goes on, but this line to Shiv in the last third of the episode is especially blunt. For context, Roman argues with Shiv about ongoing negotiations to buy GoJo.

Shiv was eliminated, and this line from Roman is darkly hilarious yet vicious, showing that even though they’ve been on the same side for most of the season, all kids end up on their own.

3 “Certainly. Although he once called me Monte Cristo’s cunt.” (Volume)

Tom and Shiv's Legacy Season 2

In the second season, Logan’s plans to acquire PGM all but fade into the background, but no one wants to tell him about it. Jerry and Carl aren’t going to quit today, especially since Logan doesn’t like being told no, so it’s time for Tom to intervene.

Tom, of course, has this fantastic line in response. One of the best of the season and also a great example of how Logan mistreated Tom from the start and why he doesn’t want to do anything for him.

The famous “d*ck pick” incident at the end of the season may have been one of the biggest twists and turns of the season, but it also led to some of the show’s best moments. This one in particular comes from Logan himself to Roman.

Obviously, this is funny in context, because, in essence, Logan confirms that he really knows what a “shitty choice” is. But it’s also a reminder of just how vast and powerful Logan’s empire really is, and what the siblings hope to gain if they end up taking it over.

1 “Oh, come on, come on. Get the hell out of here, you bloody nosy pedestrians.” (Logan)

Roy Kids eviscerated in a row by Logan on the couch

To be honest, Logan’s entire end-of-season tirade could have been here, but this one hits the most. Logan revealed that he revised his divorce clause from Caroline to take away the children’s voting rights, which nullifies everything they’ve done up to this point.

And this last insult, this last dose of filth, only confirms what everyone has suspected for some time now - what Logan has always known. He was always one step ahead.

Legacy ends season 4 - good!
