The latest title that terrorizes the audience will appear as a documentary, Stephen King on screen, a feature that will lift the curtain on the horror master. Today, GamesRadar+ released an exclusive clip with frequent Stephen King employee, Mike Flanaganin which he talks about the transfer of screams from page to screen and about the driving force of the writer.
In the clip, Flanagan, who previously directed King’s features Gerald’s game And Doctor Sleep, praises the author’s legendary creation of strong female images in his projects. For this inspiration, Flanagan credits King’s precious marriage to his wife. Tabitha King, to whom he dedicated several of his titles, as well as a close relationship with Tabitha’s mother and sisters. When Flanagan talks about the “wonderful women” in the writer’s life, brief moments from the films, including It: Chapter Two, big driverAnd Knights roll. The touching story of how Tabitha actually saved her husband’s career by pushing him to end an already classic Carrie also mentioned by Flanagan when he talks about the key moments of the couple’s life together that helped shape King’s career.
