More than 20 artillery systems, 31 drones and 620 killed invaders: the General Staff called the loss of the enemy per day

Over the past day, the Russian Federation has dealt another massive blow to the territory of Ukraine, using Iranian strike UAVs “Shahed-136/131”. According to updated information, 18 out of 23 were destroyed by our defenders. As a result of hits by explosive waves, about 50 high-rise buildings, private houses, cultural and medical institutions were damaged. There are more than 30 civilians wounded, the General Staff said.

In general, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes, including on the cities of Ternopil and Nikolaev, as a result of which civilians were injured, a multi-storey building and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

In addition, the enemy launched 79 air strikes and carried out 99 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the shelling of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region, children were killed and wounded. A private house was destroyed, 4 high-rise buildings and other civil infrastructure were damaged.

In response to enemy attacks, Defense Forces aviation delivered 10 strikes on enemy personnel and military equipment concentration areas and 4 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems in a day.

Also, our defenders shot down 3 enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the Orlan-10 type, destroyed 2 reconnaissance drones of the Zala type, 4 loitering ammunition Lancet and 5 more drones of an unknown type.

Missile and artillery units hit 4 manpower concentration areas, a multiple launch rocket system at a firing position, 2 air defense systems, 2 ammunition depots, and 2 enemy electronic warfare stations.

Thanks to the skillful actions of the Ukrainian military, the enemy lost in a day:
- personnel - 198 880 (+620) people,

- tanks - 3756 (+5) units,

- armored combat vehicles - 7325 (+18) units,

- artillery systems - 3116 (+21) units,

- MLRS - 562 (+1) units,

- UAV operational-tactical level - 2696 (+31),

- automotive equipment and tankers - 6018 (+7) units,

- special equipment - 404 (+2).

With the help of Western weaponry and growing experience, Ukrainian air defense has made significant progress over the past 14 months, saving infrastructure and human lives, military experts say.
If at the end of 2022 the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces intercepted about 80% of Russian cruise missiles, now this figure is approaching 90%. And the defense systems around Kyiv have intercepted 100% of the missiles fired at the city since April 28. In addition, a Russian Kh-47 Kinzhal hypersonic missile was shot down over Kiev.
