Sequel to one of the best horror comedies of the 80s, Gremlins 2 follows Billy, Kate and Gizmo, who now find themselves in the Big Apple. Of course, soon Gizmo is splashed with water again, and his villainous spawn begins to rampage through the city, taking over the entire skyscraper in the process.

Bye gremlins since the franchise is more of a comedy than a horror one, it’s still going to be enjoyable scream fans as this franchise has never been afraid to laugh in between kills. The titular monsters are often funny as they mess with the population, with one scene taking place in a movie theater with Hulk Hogan providing one of the best horror cameos ever.

7 ‘Sisters’ (1972)

When Grace (Jennifer Salt) witnesses a murder in a nearby apartment through her window, she uses her skills as a reporter to investigate. The apartment belongs to Daniel (Margot Kidder), whose sister is apparently responsible and she tries to cover up the incident as a pushy Grace gets closer to discovering the truth.

Director Brian De Palma, sisters arrived before his classic Carrie And Face with a scar and showcases the early talents of the renowned director. 6 “Cloverfield” (2008)

The action takes place during one harrowing night in New York. Cloverfield follows a group of friends who try to escape while a kaiju attacks the surrounding city. With one of their friends locked in her apartment on the other side of town, the group must face all sorts of dangers both above and below ground in order to save her.

One of the best movies found Cloverfield uses this technique effectively to place the audience at ground level Godzilla movie. Since both the creature’s legs and the rubble it creates are capable of crashing down on the characters at any moment, every second is dangerous as the city is literally torn apart around the actors.

Bye Devil’s Advocate gets pretty silly as it touches on religious themes, it’s worth looking at his talented cast, especially Pacino when he does it. He was described as Exorcist crossed with legal drama, and viewers who enjoy both will find Devil’s Advocate be persuasive.

Obsessed with his looks and maintaining an aura of success, Bateman’s obsession soon turns deadly when he begins killing those he lures back to his luxurious New York City apartment.
