Netflix has released the official synopsis, first look images, and release date for season 3 of the series. External banks. The series is about a group of young people known as the Pogues who team up in search of $400 million worth of treasure.
The first two seasons of the series External banks Tell Kiara’s storyMadison Bailey), Dad (Jonathan Daviess), Learn (Rudy Pankov), John B (Chase Stokes), Guard (Charles Esten) and Sarah (Madeleine Kline) as they search for a treasure believed to be related to the mysterious death of John B’s father. Inadvertently, the Pogs uncover a web of secrets and become a target for some dangerous and powerful people.
At the end of Season 2, it looks like the Pogs have managed to get ahead of their enemies and have found a paradise where they can finally relax. However, the season 3 synopsis tells us that the adventures of previous seasons were nothing compared to what Pogues will have to face next. Now that we know that John B. and Sarah’s fathers are alive, the Pogs are one step closer to finding out what’s going on with their families and the treasure they’re looking for. This will lead the Pogues on even more treasure hunts, while the Caribbean don uses the full power of the mafia to destroy anyone who gets in his way to his coveted prey.
As External banks creators and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pateand Shannon Burke They say, “The stakes are going up. The Pogs realize that their adventures in the first two seasons were just a prelude to the granddaddy of all treasure hunts.” This means we’re in for the most exciting season yet, as our heroes realize they can’t trust anyone but themselves.
The creators also explain how life imitates art when it comes to External banks, as the actors have developed inextricable bonds, just like the characters they play. As the creators put it, “The cast became friends in real life almost from the beginning, and it was so nice to see those bonds deepen over the years we worked on the series. They really are Pogues for life.”

After losing the gold and fleeing the Outer Banks in Season 3, the Pogs are washed ashore on a deserted island that briefly feels like an idyllic home. Officially referred to as Pogelandia, the island’s new residents spend their days fishing, swimming and enjoying the carefree lifestyle of their temporary home. But things quickly go awry for John B., Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ and Cleo when they get caught up in a treasure hunt again, literally for their lives.
