During the Game Awards 2022, we saw the first music video for Movie Super Mario Bros.in which the focus was on Keegan Michael KeyX Voice every toad in the Mushroom Kingdom. During the event, Illumination also released a new movie trailer with new footage showing Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day) becomes Bowser (voiced by Jack Black) hostage.
What does the first clip for “The Super Mario Bros. movie”?
In the clip, the toad leads Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) through the streets of the Mushroom Kingdom, leading him to the Peach princes (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy) lock. In the clip, we see many more references to Super Mario games, including floating blocks and moving platforms that serve as vehicles. There are also transparent pipes connecting different parts of the kingdom, through which the Toads move.
The clip also shows a group of toads working to get coins by punching yellow blocks. And when the Toads crawl out of the green warp tubes, we hear the same sound effect from the games. Finally, an antique shop sells a 1981 pixel hammer. Donkey Kongfirst game with mustachioed plumber.
Luigi and Mario break up in new trailer
A short trailer for the Game Awards shows Luigi and Mario getting sucked into a warp tube while exploring the sewers of their hometown. Once inside the warp tubes, they separate: Mario goes to the Mushroom Kingdom, and Luigi ends up in the fiery wastelands of the Bowser Kingdom. This accident seems to have started the story as Mario will be training to become a hero in order to save his brother. The new trailer also shows a new practice montage that features Mario jumping over Bullet Bills to hit a massive cardboard cutout of Bowser.
Movie Super Mario Bros. leads Aaron Horvath as well as Michael Jelenich from script Matt Vogel. All-Star Voiceover Cast Movie Super Mario Bros. also includes Kevin Michael Richardson like Kamek, Seth Rogen like Donkey Kong and Fred Armisen like Cranky Kong. original Mario Voice Actor, Charles Martinetalso makes a cameo appearance throughout the film.
