Iconoclastic comic writer Garth Ennisthe man behind the comic boys from which the popular superhero parody series Prime Video of the same name is adapted, his other work is getting screen treatment. ‘Marjorie Finnegan, Temporal Criminal,Ennis’ graphic novel about the adventures of a master treasure hunter will be made into a movie. According to Deadline, development on the project is progressing quickly and some influential names are being tapped for key behind-the-scenes roles, including Ruben Fleischer belonging Zombieland films, who will lead the project as director and producer.

Marjorie Finnegan, whose art was developed Goran Sujuka presents excellent material from which to build a potential blockbuster. In the time travel epic, the heroine races through “time lanes, stealing every shiny-shiny-beautiful-shiny thing she can get her hands on”. Her formidable work rate proves largely successful, but she ends up on the radar of the Provisional Police, “whose Deputy Marshall Number One now has a tight tail on her and takes everything very much to heart”. The assistant only wants to restore law and order, which is not enough to make him a villain, the title is held by Finnegan’s delusional ex-boyfriend who intends to use her time technology for personal gain. In the comics, Finnegan has an ally. named Tim, who is just a head.

It will be interesting to see how it all comes together in a movie, and with such a competent hand as Fleischer behind the camera, we are in for a spectacular spectacle. Fleischer has proven his versatility in his craft, and this won’t be his first foray into the action-adventure genre since 2022. unknownhe was there and did it. Tom Hollandthe film grossed a whopping $401.7 million worldwide, becoming the fifth highest-grossing film of all time, which the producers had hoped for Marjorie Finnegan adaptation can at least be mirrored. Fleischer has also directed Marvel films. Venom which was also a huge box office success. Marjorie Finnegan the adaptation comes from the AWA Studios stable under which the comic is published. For the production, the studio will join forces with LuckyChap Entertainment and Camp Hobart, Fleischer and Elias Gertlernew production banner with the project marking the first banner. Katya McMullen will develop the script while Ennis, Hobart and Ken F. Levin will be executive producers.
