The third season of the wildly popular Apple TV+ series. For all mankind just finished a few weeks ago, but plans for a fourth season are already in motion. Production on the new season has recently begun after the show was renewed in July. In connection with the filming of the new season, the series saw David Stern selected as a permanent member for its forthcoming draw.
For all mankind explores what would have happened in an alternate timeline if the space race had taken a different path than what is recorded in history. The series is set in a world where NASA astronauts, engineers and their families are the centerpiece of remarkable events, and the USSR, not the United States, wins the race to the moon. When the show returns, Stern will play former auto industry CEO and new NASA administrator Eli Hobson. Stern’s character has been given the task of spearheading NASA’s emergence into the 21st century, and the task soon proves more difficult than he previously anticipated.
The third season of the show followed the main plot, which featured a space race involving the United States and the Soviet Union in their bid to become the first nation to reach the red planet: Mars. The high-stakes competition also showed how astronauts were eager to cope with the hardships of landing on the planet and the prospect of going even further into space. This race between nations takes place as the series takes us into a new decade as the 90s arrive. The third season ended with several twists and turns and a climactic conclusion.
Stern’s films include Game over, dude!, James Vs. His Future Self, Diner as well as War Milagro Beanfield. One of his most famous roles is that of Marv Merchins in the popular Alone at home. The actor has television credits that include Start, Manhattan on WGN America and house of lies on Showtime. His most recent work was on an original Hulu series. Piercing.
For all mankind trio created Ronald D. Moore, Ben Nedivi as well as Matt Wolpert. The trio also serve as executive producers on the series, with Nedivi and Volpert taking on additional showrunner roles. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television. Other executive producers include David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, Nicole Beatty as well as Meryl Davis Tall Ship Productions.
The cast for the new season is yet to be fully revealed, given several on-screen deaths at the end of the third season. However, joining Stern in the new season is Chris Marshall, Joel Kinnaman, as well as Renn Schmidt.
You can broadcast For all mankind on Apple TV+, where all three seasons are available.
