Friday night, during the “Directors’ Collider” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Editor-in-Chief Steve Weintraub he was joined in hall H by famous directors Tim Miller (Dead Pool), Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) as well as Chad Stahelski (John Wick: Chapter 4). The members not only got an exclusive first look at John Wick: Chapter 4 over a minute teaser and poster, but John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves surprised the audience with his guest appearance.

During the interview, Weintraub discussed the elements that go into directing and spoke at length with Miller, Stanton and Stahelski about their previous and future projects. One of these films is the long-awaited fourth part of Stahelski in the neo-noir style. John Wick franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4. While leading the panel, Weintraub paused and said that there was a question from someone named J. Utah, a reference to one of Reeves’ earlier films. Once the convention attendees and Miller were seated, Weintraub asked the star and director about the upcoming film and what it’s like to shoot internationally. Unlike the first three films, John Wick 4 going to fight overseas, with five different countries on Wick’s warpath: America, Japan, Jordan, Berlin - sorry, Germany - and France. The actor joked about the jury, but quickly turned to the legendary directors and editor-in-chief of Collider with the words:

“Actually, it was really cool. It was a lot of fun to introduce Wick internationally… to all of you directors and Steve for you too. It’s right? Even if it’s an action movie, or entertainment, or animation. Even this is nothing. You know, it’s like a big picture, and humanity, and all your works of art - communicate it. And you help us talk about it, so thank you. Anyway, thanks for inviting me, thanks for letting me jump in here.”

As if he didn’t cheer the entire H Hall by joining them, Reeves humbly thanked everyone for letting him in, jumped up from the floor and ran off the stage. Not before showing the peace sign to the fans who cheered his departure.

Reeves, who fans know from a number of Hollywood blockbusters, has been playing respected hitman Jonathan “John” Wick since 2014, when audiences were first introduced to Derek Kolstadtragic antihero. In addition to Wick, Reeves is best known for his role as Neo in Matrix franchise, Ted Ying The Incredible Adventures of Bill and Ted, Devil’s AdvocateJack Traven Speed, Scanner gloomy and his upcoming film BRZRKR.

The sinister franchise follows John Wick, a deadly assassin widely known throughout the underworld who, after a long and bloody career, chooses love over a life of murder and retires. After the death of his wife Elena (Bridget Moynahan), Wick spends his retirement with his dog Daisy, the only bond a man has left with his wife. It was the murder of Wick’s dog during a carjacking that was the catalyst for the next three films.

Together with Reeves John Wick 4 will be a star Laurence Fishburne, Bill Skarsgard, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamimer Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkinsas well as Ian McShane.

The teaser presented at the SDCC was a full minute of full and absolute action, and on top of melee, melee, arrowIn hand-to-hand combat, someone insisted that “no one, not even you, can kill everyone.” Sounds like a challenge.
