When it was announced in April that the ensemble cast Star Trek: The Next Generation they will all appear in the third season Star Trek: Picard, fans of the outdated series were filled with excitement to see the entire gang back together. After the epic summer release of the first season Strange new worldsParamount took Star Trek franchise at San Diego Comic-Con for the extra-large Star Trek Universe panel. Presence on Picard was the man himself Patrick Stewartas well as TNG actress Gates McFaddenas well as manufacturers Alex Kurtzman as well as Rod Roddenberry.

During the panel, the cast and crew unveiled the film’s first official trailer. Picard Season 3, and as expected, seeing TNG the crew back together is sure to bring tears to fans of both series. In the new trailer, fans got to see and hear a glimpse of the returning actors.

Both previous seasons Picard also saw the return of several characters from TNG including retired parents Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Dina Troy (Marina Sirtis) and Android data (Brent Spiner) in Season 1 and Q’s amazing performances (John de Lancie) and Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg) in season 2. season 3 Picard marks the first time Stewart, McFadden, Frakes, Sirtis, Spiner, LeVar Burtonas well as Michael Dorn everyone has been sharing the screen since 2003 Star Trek: Nemesis. Spiner has appeared in every season of Picard, however, since Season 1 was centered around Data’s desire to leave, it’s not yet clear who he will play in Season 3. Perhaps another relative of the incomparable Dr. Sung.

Star Trek: Picard will also be presented Jerry Ryan as Seven of Nine (also a legacy character from Star Trek: Voyager) as well as Michelle Hurd as Raffi Musiker. The previous two seasons have shown Alison Pill, Santiago Cabrera, it Brionesas well as Evan Evagora who all left after season 2 and the return announcement TNG cast members. Every season Star Trek: Picard feels a bit like an anthology throughout the series, and it looks like season 3 will be an exciting final chapter.
