In this regard, the minimum base for a small ZUS plus is PLN 1047.
Development Minister Valdemar Buda, who was present at the conference, stressed that the small ZUS Plus is a solution for very small entrepreneurs such as tutors, hairdressers and make-up artists. He added that this decision allows to reduce premiums by about half.
He said that this will affect both those small entrepreneurs who still enjoy this preference, and those who have lost the right to it.
– Those persons who exercised this right and lost it in 2023 will be able to receive the same allowance from 1 August for a period of one year (…) if they meet the income criterion – Bud said.
He added that the cost of a small ZUS plus for the state budget this year is about PLN 300 million. In subsequent years, the total amount could reach up to PLN 2 billion.
