One of the most emotional moments in the episode was when Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Shiv (Sara Snook) go to their father’s apartment to choose which of his things they would like to keep after his death. While they are taking things away, they stumble upon a video of Logan (Brian Cox) is having a good time with his closest friends, including Jerry (J. Smith-Cameron).
During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress revealed how this video was filmed, given the fact that Logan died at the beginning of the season. The video was apparently filmed on a mobile phone, which explains the poor image quality when transferred to Roy’s TV. The four siblings gather around the screen to enjoy the moment they could see their father relaxed and happy, unlike the stress the former CEO had to face when he ran one of the world’s largest media conglomerates. Yes, it was added later. We filmed it as part of the last episode. It just had to look like a memory. I thought it was so great because we have never seen such a flavor when they sit around for a long time after dinner, the plates are cleared and they sent the staff home. We’ve always seen scenes with a high level of conflict, right? It was just nice to see them treat each other like that.
It can’t be a long past because Kerry is there, but you get the feeling that with Connor, Carl, Frank and Jerry, they’ve had a lot of that over the years, that maybe after the deal was done, or that anything, [they would] stay up late at night joking and we’ve never seen this color before.
After Logan passed away, Jerry had a difficult road ahead when it came to her position at Waystar. Because Kendall and Roman had no idea how to run a business, they never listened to what Jerry had to say, causing disaster after disaster for the company. The lack of experience of the brothers and sisters convinced the board that perhaps the acquisition from Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard) was the best option for Waystar’s promotion, implying that the new management would do a better job than Logan’s kids. Of course Roman, Kendall and Shiv wouldn’t let that happen.

Even if it looked like the siblings could work together for a while, their destructive behavior got the better of them and Shiv refused to let Kendall become CEO due to his involvement in the young man’s death during the war. the first season of the series.
