Biedronka is recalling a batch of crispbread from stores. The health department found elevated levels of acrylamide in it.
The announcement about the recall of Pano bread from stores was published on the website of the Biedronka chain. The Main Sanitary Inspectorate reported that the product would also disappear from the shelves of the Polish Supermarkets chain of stores.

Elevated levels of acrylamide have been found in a batch of Pano bread, according to a health ministry announcement.
“Based on risk assessments by the National Institute of Public Health, the National Institute of Hygiene – National Research Institute, it is concluded that consumption of products containing acrylamide at the levels identified in the studies may pose a risk to consumer health,” the report said. release says.

Investigation
Glavgossanepidnadzor initiated an investigation into this matter. The Department of Health warns that the product should not be eaten.
“All consumers who return a product with packaging (required to determine the product’s expiration date) will be refunded the purchase price of the product,” Biedronka said in a statement.
