In an interview with the editor-in-chief of Collider Steve WeintraubGrant was asked about the cameo, to which he replied, “It’s true, I’m married to James Bond.” Grant did not dare to go into details, given that his interlocutor Chris Pinewith whom he is filming in the future Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves haven’t seen the movie yet. However, he could say nothing but kind words about Ryan Johnsonsuccessful series of detective films, adding:

“It’s a tiny moment. I don’t really know why they wanted to do this, but anyway, I thought Get the knives 1 was great so yeah I thought why not? I’m here for a few hours…”

The moment in question, says Grant, is very small. His voice is first heard at the beginning of the film, when he calls for Blanc through their bathroom door, where the detective is sulking in the tub while playing “Among Us” with Stephen Sondheim, Angela Lansbury, Natasha Lyonne and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Once the film returns to explain the events that lead Blanc and Helen to Miles Bron (Edward Norton) hideout on the island, Grant is clearly visible opening the door with a jar of sourdough in his hand. “Among us” and on leaven? Key indicators of the early days of lockdown, if we’ve ever seen them.

Grant can then be seen along Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rare Jean Page, Justic Smith and Sophia Lillis in Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daleyfantastic adventure Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieveswhich will be released in theaters on March 31, 2023. The story follows a famous gang of thieves who decide to make amends by stealing something they shouldn’t have stolen at all.
