In 2024, housing subsidies to citizens, the right to which can be found in the Action, must be paid in full. In addition, accruals will automatically take into account tariff increases.
The First Deputy Minister of Social Policy noted this in a commentary to Ukrainian Radio Daria Marchak.
“Those citizens who have received subsidies do not need to take any action from them. The pension fund automatically transfers the amount of the subsidy, for example, after a tariff increase”Marchak assured.
She also added that this will happen if tariffs increase and family income does not change.
At the same time, the government assures that there should be no shortage of funds to finance subsidies in the state budget-2024.
Recall that, according to the current norms, a subsidy is assigned if utility costs exceed 15% of the average monthly total family income before the end of martial law and within 1 month after its cancellation.
The subsidy must be applied for online, however, for some categories of citizens, a different procedure applies.
