Delicious crispy cucumbers with mustard for the winter: a time-tested recipe

Cucumber season is in full swing. Each housewife has her favorite recipes for making spins for the winter.

Butyshki cooks offer a recipe that has been tested for years - these are cucumbers with mustard. Preparing quickly enough, well stored even in the apartment.

Ingredients on a 1 liter can:

cucumbers
Horseradish leaves - 1-2 pcs.
Dill - 2-3 sprigs
Cherry leaves - 2 pcs.
Bay leaf - 1 pc.
Allspice - 3 pcs.
Black peppercorns - 4-5 pcs.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Salt - 1 tbsp. l.
Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Vinegar 9% - 1.5 tbsp. l.
Mustard powder - 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking:

Soak cucumbers in cold water for 3-4 hours, then rinse well under running water.

Put horseradish leaves, a few sprigs of dill, cherry leaves, bay leaves, allspice, black peppercorns and a couple of cloves of garlic into dry, clean jars.

Put cucumbers in jars, pour boiling water over them, cover with sterilized lids and leave for 15-20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, carefully pour the water into the pan, add salt, sugar, bring to a boil until sugar and salt are completely dissolved.

As soon as the water in the pan boils, pour 9% vinegar into each jar and add mustard powder.

Pour the cucumbers with boiling brine, tightly tighten the lids. Cover the jars with a blanket, leave to cool completely.

Such cucumbers are well preserved both in the cold and at room temperature.
