Ukrainian brutally murdered in a parking lot in Chelm, Poland

In Polish Chelm, where a direct train from Kyiv has been running since the beginning of 2023, an unknown man attacked a 36-year-old Ukrainian with a knife and stabbed the victim four times in the chest. They turned out to be deadly.

According to a Polish resource, the attack took place at around midnight in a parking lot on Volynska Street.

After the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene.

The wounded Ukrainian died in the hospital, although doctors tried to resuscitate him to the end.

The police are now looking for the attacker. Cynologists with dogs were involved in the search.

The motives of the crime are still unknown.

Recall that last fall in Poland, a citizen of Ukraine was charged with assaulting police officers and attempted murder. The event took place in Tomaszow Lubelski. Police said a man was lying on the sidewalk. The police wanted to help him, but when they tried to pick him up, the “victim” pulled out a knife and attacked the police. One of the security forces in uniform took out a pistol and fired at the attacker, wounding him in the leg. This made it possible to overcome the man and detain him. The attacker turned out to be a 24-year-old citizen of Ukraine. He and the policemen he had injured were taken to the hospital.
