“The time has come”: cracks were noticed on the pillars of the Crimean bridge (photo)

Cracks appeared on some pillars of the Kerch bridge built by the Russians in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Telegram-channel “Crimean wind”.

“The supports of the Kerch bridge are tired. It’s already time”- noted in the public.

Recall that the bridge across the Kerch Strait, connecting the temporarily occupied Crimea with Russia (the Kerch and Taman Peninsulas), was built by the Russians after the illegal annexation of the peninsula. In 2018, they opened the automobile section, a year later, the railway section for passenger transport, and in 2020 for freight.

This bridge serves to overturn troops from Russia to the battlefields in Ukraine by the invaders, so it has long been a target for the Ukrainian special services. In October 2022, due to an explosion on the Crimean bridge, two half-sections of its automobile part collapsed and the railway track was damaged. Then the aged Russian dictator Vladimir Putin called it a “terrorist attack”, and “executors” of the Ukrainian special services. The Ukrainian side did not directly confirm that it was related to the blowing up of the bridge, but repeatedly noted that the Crimean bridge is a legitimate target for our military, but at the first stage it will be left to allow civilians to evacuate.
