In Ukraine, Ukrainians who currently receive a pension in the amount of UAH 5,842 and had 35 years of service at the time of their well-deserved rest can apply for an additional payment of UAH 1,000 in June.
We are talking about citizens who continued to work in retirement and received at least 24 months of additional experience, the Pension Fund explained.
The institution also added that the recalculation is made retroactively, since the statistics are received late. For those with 35 years of service, the coefficient in the pension calculation formula is 0.35. And after the recalculation of the pension from April, the coefficient will increase to 0.37.
According to the law, those who have fulfilled the following conditions are entitled to recalculate the pension in April:
- continued to work after the appointment of a pension;
- during the work period received at least 24 months of additional experience.
That is, the recalculation occurs every two years, provided that as of March there are already 24 months of experience. Payments are recalculated from April, and people will receive payments from June - a pension with an additional payment for the previous two months.
In the presence of 35 years of service and a pension in the amount of 5842 UAH. the monthly allowance after recalculation will be 333 UAH. In June, both the increased pension and the increase for April and May will be paid. Accordingly, the pension will increase by 1000 hryvnia. Further, they will pay monthly at 6175.1 UAH.
In total, 2.7 million pensioners continue to work in Ukraine. Among them are a large number of state employees.
Earlier it was reported what payments pensioners-liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, as well as people affected by the Chernobyl disaster, can count on.
