According to the explanations of officials, when recalculating UAH 10,000 for a charitable targeted pension, a pensioner will receive UAH 7,000, and the rest (UAH 3,000) will be retired to other Ukrainians.
After receipt of funds to a separate account of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, 70% of the charitable personalized contribution (in the given example, this is 7 thousand hryvnias) will be included in the payment documents for the selected pensioner. The remaining 30% will be used to finance the pensions of other pensioners.”- the message says.
“The law adopted by BP in 2022 allows for charitable contributions to pay pensions. Such contributions can be made in favor of a specific person who is already receiving a pension and has an account in the Pension Fund, or impersonally”, - added Galina Tretyakova, Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans’ Rights. .
Any citizen of Ukraine residing in Ukraine or abroad can make a charitable donation to the Pension Fund in order to increase the pension of their parents, grandparents or just close people.
Recall that the other day the Pension Fund told how to get a pension in advance - this is possible after the Fund receives a notification from a pensioner about leaving abroad for permanent residence.
