I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

In Ukraine, where disability pensions are calculated individually, every citizen has the right to free prosthetics.

According to the Social Information Platform, the procedure for free prosthetics for war victims has been greatly simplified - in particular, they do not need to establish a disability in order to receive the necessary prosthesis.

“About those who suffered from the war, including military personnel, we have abolished the need to receive a disability. You don’t have to be disabled to get a prosthesis. It is enough for the conclusion of the medical advisory commission that you need such a prosthesis in the hospital itself.- noted Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich.

In particular, military personnel must provide the following documents in order to receive prostheses:

  • statement;

  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine (temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine, permanent residence permit, temporary residence permit, certificate of a person in need of additional protection);

  • a copy of the identification number;

  • decision of the military medical commission;

  • an extract from the order of the commander of the military unit (head of the territorial subdivision) or a certificate of the circumstances of the injury issued by the commander of the military unit, or a copy of another document with information on participation in hostilities or the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense and deter Russian armed aggression.
