Killed the baby with a kitchen knife: in Transcarpathia, a man took the life of his own son

In one of the villages of the Tyachevsky district of the Transcarpathian region, a man stabbed his own young son to death.

This was reported in the prosecutor’s office of the Transcarpathian region.

During the investigation, it was proved that on July 23, 2022, an intoxicated man stabbed his son several times with a kitchen knife. The child died on the spot from severe injuries.

Some time after the crime, the man was hiding in the woods near the house. Subsequently, he was found, detained and arrested.

“The juvenile prosecutor of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment against a Transcarpathian on the fact of the premeditated murder of a minor child (clause 2, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) to the court” - the message says.

Further consideration of the proceedings will be carried out by the Tyachevsky District Court. For such a crime, the unfortunate father can face 10-15 years in prison or life imprisonment.

Earlier, a similar crime occurred in Kyiv, as well as in a village near Rivne.
