Former Commander, US Army Europe, Lieutenant General Ben Hodges believes that Ukraine will be able to liberate Russian-occupied Crimea by the end of August, however, a number of conditions must be met for this.
Yes, the West should continue the sanctions policy against the aggressor country of the Russian Federation and provide Ukraine with long-range precision weapons.
“Ukraine will dismiss Crimea by the end of August if we continue to provide what we have said and if we maintain sanctions. Faster if we provide a longer range precision weapon,” Hodges wrote in Twitter.

Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that it could happen that Ukraine will return the Crimea occupied by Russia through diplomacy.
At the same time, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, believes that Ukraine will return the Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia in a combined way - military force and diplomacy.
“But without strength, nothing will happen. Our units will go there with weapons in their hands,” he noted.
