I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which is about to lose the right to use the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, reported an armed attack by an unknown person on the primate of the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God in Vinnitsa, Archpriest Anthony Kovtonyuk.

According to the published information, on the morning of January 2, the man entered the temple and began to turn everything over.

The rector of the temple, Father Anthony, who at that time was in the altar, reacted to the noise and went to her husband.

“The rector began to make remarks, but the unknown man did not react to them and cut the priest’s throat with a knife,” - the message says.

When the police arrived at the scene of the crime, the attacker refused to obey, so the police were forced to use weapons - the attacker was wounded in the leg and detained.

Archpriest Anthony underwent surgery and is in intensive care in one of the hospitals in Vinnitsa.

In the meantime, the police took investigative steps to establish the cause of the attack.

Recall that in December, by decision of the National Security and Defense Council, personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) were introduced against a number of clergymen of the UOC.
