On Thursday, December 29, the Russian occupation-terrorist forces once again carried out a massive missile attack on Ukraine, but this time they use tactical aircraft instead of strategic ones. The reason is the attacks on Russian airfields, where the latter was located.
The founder of the “Close the Sky over Ukraine” Foundation, the former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told Apostrophe TV about this Igor Romanenko.
“Today’s missile attack shows that, unfortunately, the Russians have the resources to launch such large-scale attacks, but not everything is so bad. At least there is something to work on, - he said.
The peculiarity of today’s missile attack is that the attacks on Russian bases in Engels forced the Russians to relocate strategic aviation to other airfields deep into the territory of the Russian Federation.
“Therefore, we see that the strikes were carried out by tactical aviation forces, which is a plus for us. Obviously, the Russians do not have enough strike force without strategic aviation, ” Romanenko explained.
In this regard, we can conclude that the tactics of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are correct: not only strengthening the air defense and shooting down enemy missiles on the way, but also pressure on the bases and platforms from which strikes are made.
“That is, to destroy the installations of the Iskanders so that they do not have time to launch missiles (cruise and ballistic), destroy ships, destroy strategic bombers right on the“ ground ””, - summed up the ex-deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that earlier military expert Oleg Katkov suggested that the latest explosions at a military airfield in the Russian Engels on the night of December 26 led to astronomical losses for the Russian budget.
