War-affected residents of the Kyiv and Kharkov regions can receive financial assistance from the American charitable organization HIAS. Registration for receiving funds has already begun, the Social Information Platform reported.
We are talking about the payment of 2200 hryvnia for each family member within 3 months.
The following may apply for funds:
-
families of internally displaced persons who moved to one of the specified areas in the last 30 days;
-
shelling-affected households;
-
families who have lost a family member or livelihood as a result of hostilities (damaged/lost store, farm, livestock, etc.).
Also eligible for payments are internally displaced persons or people who moved to the regions more than 30 days ago, but have an income of less than UAH 5,400 per person (for the last three months) and meet at least one of the vulnerability criteria:
-
have two or more children;
-
there is a person with a disability in the family;
-
the household is run by one person (spouse or woman);
-
there are pregnant women or women with children under two years of age in the family;
-
there are elderly people in the family (55+ years).
An important condition is also the non-receipt of assistance from other international organizations.
To apply, residents of the Kyiv region should contact the permanent registration center at the address: Brovary, st. Independence, 5 (entrance from the yard). Working hours: Mon-Fri from 9.00 to 18.00.
In the Kharkiv region, applications are accepted in Chuguev at the address Gvardeyskaya street, 20 (school number 1). Working hours: Mon-Fri from 9.00 to 18.00.
There are also traveling mobile teams, whose movement in the region can be tracked at the link.
To register for benefits, you must provide:
-
internal passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
-
individual tax number;
-
Bank account IBAN;
-
