At the same time, this will happen only on the condition that Russia does not start new massive shelling of our territory. Dmitry Sakharuk, Executive Director of STEC, announced this on the air of the telethon.
According to Sakharuk, there are emergency power outages in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions today. Stabilization shutdowns can be returned only after increasing the power in the system.
“If there are no new shelling, it is already a matter of weeks when it will be possible to completely restore the generation that was damaged as a result of the last shelling. We will be able to return to blackout schedules when people know when the lights will turn off. People will open the site and look when they have no light and will be able to plan their lives,” Saharuk said.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has warned of the worst winter since World War II.
And energy experts said that a complete blackout could come in Ukraine in a few weeks.
