At a time when servicemen are giving their lives at the front, some citizens, including those who sell humanitarian aid, care only about their own interests. And the other day, a completely egregious case was recorded.
According to the GUNP in the Donetsk region, a resident of the Chernivtsi region, whose man died at the front, turned to the Selydove police. The woman found out about his death on the morning of September 5, but later received an SMS message about payments on his bank card.
The police found out that a 41-year-old worker of one of the morgues in the Pokrovsky district used the card of the deceased.
“When examining the body of the deceased, the employee found a bank card and decided to use it. The attacker went shopping. After spending 5 thousand hryvnia, the woman threw the card in the trash”- the message says.
By the way, she is involved in another such crime - earlier the woman appropriated 4,000 hryvnias.
Criminal proceedings initiated under Part 4 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft committed under martial law or state of emergency). Suspicion is being prepared for the figurant of the case. The sanction of the article is imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
Earlier, the wife of TV presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk, Kristina, said that the pseudo-volunteer embezzled the money that she collected the car of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds were transferred to a volunteer with whom she had previously collaborated and whose activities did not arouse suspicion. But the man disappeared along with 70 thousand hryvnias.
