Popular singer Jerry Heil (Yana Shemaeva) last autumn she said that she intended to go to study in the USA.
The fact that she is already in Boston, Yana Shemaeva said on Instagram: “This is Boston. City of students. The city where Harvard, the College of Massachusetts, Northeastern University and, of course, Berkeley are located.
Her dream will come true - for four years she will study to write music for films. “Berkeley is a different approach and a lot of talented people from all over the world around. Recall that this summer she was in Bonn, where the popular American singer Billy Eilish performed, supporting Ukraine. During the concert, the American unfurled the flag of Ukraine, which Yana handed to her.
Jerry Heil has had several collaborations lately. So, together with the Kalush Orchestra, she recorded a common hit right in the hotel room, the writing of which was inspired by the visit of the Hollywood star Angelina Jolie to Lviv.
And recently, together with TV presenter Lesya Nikityuk, they made a sarcastic track “on the topic of the day”, ridiculing the Russians who hastily leave Crimea because of the explosions. In particular, a tourist who is crying and does not want to leave Alushta, where “everything is so sincere and at home.”
