For Ukrainians who have reached retirement age, a pension can be assigned automatically. For this, it is necessary that the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance contains complete information on the availability of insurance experience acquired by the future pensioner. This was recalled in the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
If such information is available, after a person reaches retirement age, a pension will be assigned automatically without applying to the PFU authorities.
If there is not enough certain information about the insurance period, you can apply for a pension remotely through the PFU electronic services web portal.
In this case, you can provide additional information about the length of service, check the data entered by the policyholders, and, if necessary, correct inaccuracies.
You can do this in the “Popular Services” section - “Questionnaire for providing information for the automatic assignment of an old-age pension” in the left menu of the site.
Recall that in 2022, persons who are 60 years old and have at least 29 years of insurance experience can retire by age.
