“Honestly, after the first set, I expected a quick 3-0 score. LKS played fantastic. From the second we started to play more competitively, but I don’t think we could withstand the pressure yet. But the third batch was very good. She changed us mentally and physically. A real team woke up in us again, which was not going to give up. We knew that we had a great team in front of us, but this did not affect our motivation. Our youth showed sports anger and led to a tie-break. And in it, as usual - a lottery. I don’t want to talk about forgetting the failure, but at least you should put it aside, says the host from Rzeszow.

ŁKS Łódź is showing very good results in the current season in the Tauron Liga. Alessandro Chiappini’s wards have lost only one match in the league and are going to the playoffs as favorites for gold. The developers, who have already lost twice to the Squirrels in the current games, do not want to even think about giving up easily in the fight for gold. In the previous season, it was the club from Rzeszow that dominated the players from Lodz. Blagojevich praises the opponents, but at the same time adds that the playoffs awaken new strengths in her.

“We have a big task ahead of us this year. Last season we always managed to clash with ŁKS. Now it’s the other way around. We must pay tribute to the girls from Lodz, they play volleyball very well. They have one defeat, but it didn’t change their mentality. I think the opponents might look at them differently because everyone has big challenges ahead,” Blagojevich said of ŁKS.

We’ve been playing two games a week since the start of the season. We just recently finished playing in the Champions League. It can calm our heads. From now on, we will focus on just one competition, the Tauron Liga. You can talk about fatigue, but in fact, now the coolest period of the season begins. Now all you have to do is work hard,” said the Olympic bronze medalist from Tokyo.

Blagojevich is looking forward to working with a coach who has openly admitted that he considers the Serbian volleyball player with the greatest coaching potential.

“I am happy to be able to work with the team again. I will work with the new coach Guidetti. He is a great coach and I am honored to learn from him. The international season will be very demanding. The season ends in mid-May and the Nations League starts at the end of the month. In addition, there is a struggle for points in the ranking. We are world champions, so we want to become European champions as well. We also dream of Olympic gold, but first we need to get to it. There is definitely a lot of play and pressure ahead. The match against Poland in Gliwice, won with a score of 3:2, showed us, however, that we can survive any crisis, says the host.
