New information about the organization of the Poland-Albania match at PGE Narodowy has appeared. Although PZPN President Cesarii Kuleša said that the meeting would take place in “our house”, the building authority is of the opposite opinion. The mayor’s office of Warsaw also spoke about this.

After the failure at PGE Narodowy, people were wondering where the match between Poland and Albania would take place as part of the email. until ME 2024. Although there was much speculation, on February 24, PZPN President Cesar Kulesza announced that the meeting would take place at “our house”.

“We received all the documents after a security check, which is very important for us. The work of many people has brought results. Thanks to everyone who participated in this process!” - wrote Cesar Kulesha on Twitter.

Media: Mass events cannot be held at the stadium

However, now “Gazeta Wyborcza” has published new reports about the possibility of holding the match on PGE Narodowy. The journalists talked to Joanna Gonsiorowska, acting inspector of the county building supervision in Warsaw.

“Mass events should not be held in the stadium until all irregularities in the roof structure have been eliminated,” she told the newspaper.

Information about public events at PGE Narodowy

As a reminder, in February, Włodzimierz Dola, president of the company that manages the PL.2012 stadium, said that the stadium was safe and could host events scheduled for 2023. However, as GV journalists emphasize, this is only a temporary repair, hence the reaction of the building supervision inspector. As journalists found out, this prevents city officials from giving permission to hold a mass event.

Monika Beit-Lutik, press secretary of the Warsaw City Hall, also commented on this topic. - So far, we have received only a letter from the construction supervision about the exclusion of a mass event. If the supervisor receives documents that change their mind, this will be taken into account when making a decision to hold a mass event, she said.

Statement of the company responsible for PGE Narodowy

On March 15, PL.2012+, which is the operator of PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, announced that a group of experts led by a professor at the Gdansk University of Technology, Dr. hab. English Krzysztof Zultowski, who has the appropriate permits, assured that PGE Narodowy is a safe place for mass events.

“Currently, a team of experts, consisting of eminent practitioners and professors in the field of building construction, materials science, foundry and welding, clearly indicate that PGE Narodowy is a safe place,” read the announcement on the pgenarodowy.pl website.
