Today, March 12, we will witness the second qualification and the second individual classification at the Holmenkolbakken hill in Oslo as part of the Raw Air series. This time the competition will be a little different than usual. Specify where to watch the TV show and online and at what time.
The first individual competition in Oslo as part of the Raw Air series did not end the way the fans and they themselves expected. The best was David Kubacki, who finished the competition in 9th place. Kamil Stoch then placed 13th, Petr Zyla placed 29th due to a very bad jump in the second round, and Pavel Voshek, Aleksandr Zniszhol and Jakub Wolny did not advance to the second round. Today they will have the opportunity to redeem yesterday’s jumps.
Thomas Turnbichler and Camille Stoch were not satisfied with the results
The coach of the Polish ski jumping team, Thomas Turnbichler, traditionally gave an interview after the end of the competition, during which he bluntly said that the day was not the best for the Polish ski jumping, but still believes that you can squeeze much more out of this squad than what we experienced.
“We all wanted more. If I had to sum up the competition in one sentence, the conditions were tough and we could have done better. It wasn’t jumping at our highest level. David could not find the right position in any way, Peter jumped better than yesterday, but this is still not his best mood. Olek did not have enough luck, he was close to promotion, - the Austrian said in an interview with Eurosport.
Kamil Stoch was also not happy with his jumps and the fact that today’s competition will not go as usual.
“Today it was definitely my faults. As for the terms, I don’t think I’m wrong. There was a lot of instability in my running jumps today and the direction of takeoff suffered. These jumps were good, but it’s not like it was a week ago in Planica. Something more is needed here (…) I think that on Saturday I will analyze my jumps. We usually do it on Sunday, but everything starts very early. Let’s see what can be improved. That’s what they did, that’s how you should jump. I don’t know who came up with this, but I sincerely congratulate him, ”the two-time winner of the Crystal Ball commented ironically.
