The best Polish tennis players Iga Swiatek, Magda Linette and Hubert Hurkacz have been preparing for the prestigious tournament in Indian Wells for several days. This is one of the most important events in the women’s and men’s calendar, not belonging to the Grand Slam category. The first racket of the world ranking and the best Polish male representative in this discipline competed in the mixed doubles competition in preparation for the competition.

Two Poles took part in an exhibition tournament for the Eisenhower Cup, named after the Tie Break Tens format. The competition is a charity event in which the greatest tennis stars compete. In previous years, players competed in singles. This time it was duet fights, which only made the fun more appealing. In order not to overwork the athletes before real matches, the tournament formula was limited to fighting for ten points.
Many tennis stars joined the tournament, including Arina Sobolenko, Ons Jabber, Belinda Bencic, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Kasper Ruud and Stan Wawrinka. Hurkacz/Swiatek beat Leyla Fernandez and Felix Auger-Aliassime 10-6 in the quarter-finals. In the semifinals, they also confidently beat the duo Maria Sakkari/Stefanos Tsitsipas 10:7. In the final fight for $200,000 for charity, the Poles lost to Sobalenko/Taylor Fritz with a score of 7:10.
