On the eve of Indian Wells, ATP has updated the world ranking of tennis players. Novak Djokovic, who recently defeated Hubert Gurkacs, took first place. In turn, the Pole made up for some of the losses of the top ten.

Like every Monday, ATP representatives update the world ranking of tennis players. Novak Djokovic remains in first place and will not compete at the upcoming Indian Wells. The organizers of this tournament have confirmed the departure of the Serbian player.

Second in the ranking is Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The 19-year-old is 380 points behind the first Serb and has a 975-point advantage over third Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (5805 points). Out of the podium were Kasper Ruud (5560 points), Taylor Fritz - 3795 points and Daniil Medvedev - 3775 points.

Andrey Rublev closes the top ten, lagging behind his compatriot by 115 points. Eighth place is occupied by 19-year-old Holger Rune (3321), who has risen two positions up and ahead of Rafael Nadal (3315) and Felix Auger-Aliassime (3245), among others.

Once again, Hubert Gurkacz missed the top ten, losing 135 points to the tenth Canadian. With his performance at the ATP in Dubai, the Pole won back 45 points to his opponent. Recall that the native of Wroclaw lost in the quarterfinals of this tournament to Novak Djokovic.

In the latest ATP rankings, Kamil Majhrzak was 138th with 433 points, Kacper Zuk was 258th with 212 points and Daniel Michalski was 278th with 190 points.
