Daniel Plinski took a big risk by joining Stal Nysa, who ended last PlusLiga season in last fourteenth place. It was only thanks to changes within the league that the Yellow-Blues did not make it to the Tauron 1 Liga. The current campaign is definitely different and the Stalovtsy are fifth in the table. As a reward, the coach received an offer to extend the contract.

PSG is one of the highlights of the current PlusLiga season. The Yellow-Blues are fifth in the table with 34 points after 19 rounds. By the fourth ZAX, the steelworkers are six points behind.

Stal Nysa faced huge challenges last season. Stalovtsy took the last 14th place in PlusLiga, which in normal conditions would have meant a promotion to Tauron 1 Liga, but due to changes in the league structure, i.e. expanding it with two more teams - Barkom-Każany Lwów and BBTS Bielsko-Biała, the club was saved from degradation.

The team came to the aid of Daniel Plinski, who previously played for the Polish U-21 team, with which he won the bronze medal of the European Championship, and Stalpro Blyskawica Szczecin. He took over as manager in November 2021, after his predecessor Krzysztof Stelmach left the club in Nysa. The revolution of the former volleyball player brought the desired effect and in the current Plus League season we are seeing a changed Stala Nysu.

Daniel Plinski was awarded by the club

For these results, the coach was awarded. Representatives of the club sent very good news to the fans of the Yellow-Blues through their social networks. “Coach Daniel Plinski has extended his contract with PSG Stala Nysa,” read the communiqué.

“He joined PSG Stal Nysa at a difficult moment, but he took a chance and, above all, believed, and today he leads the fifth team in the PlusLiga table. Coach Daniel Plinski will lead the yellow-blue team next season.

In the next match, Stal Nysa will play against Group Azota ZAKSA Kendzezhin-Kozle, fourth in the table. Live broadcast of this match will be available on Polsat sports channels at 8:30 pm.
