Michal Olekseichuk started his fight in the UFC badly. However, the Pole managed to gain a position from above and, after strikes in the stalls, recorded another victory.
The attention of MMA fans in Poland was undoubtedly attracted by the clash between Mariusz Pudzianowski and Mamed Khalidov at KSW 77. However, overseas Michal Olekseichuk fought in the best organization of mixed martial arts. The Hussarz face Cody Brundage of the United States in his tenth fight in the UFC.
The Pole will soon celebrate another anniversary. On December 30, it will be exactly five years since his debut for the American organization. Alekseychuk wanted to continue his winning streak after moving up from light heavyweight to middleweight and winning in the first round in his previous fight with Sam Alvey.

The duel began quietly. The American, however, first tried a high-kick, and then successfully switched to a takedown. After a few tens of seconds, the Pole managed to briefly resume the fight, but he was still under the net. The next seconds were spent trying to find the right position for Brundage to hand over Alekseychuk.
Two minutes later, the Pole managed to turn the opponent over, and he controlled the fight from above, inflicting strong blows. After several strong punches and hammers, the referee had no choice but to stop the fight. Alekseychuk finished his second middleweight fight again in the first round. After the fight, Husarz admitted that he lost the takedown too easily. He also stated that he is ready in the next fight to fight someone from the top 15 UFC in his weight class.
