Volleyball World Championship. Third victory for Poland
The Polish team faced South Korea in the Nations League, winning 3-0. Lavarini knows his opponents well. The Italian coach led the Korean women last year, taking fourth place with the team at the Tokyo Olympics.
The first set was even until 16:16. The end of the set belonged to the Polish team. The opponents could not cope with the block, and Olivia Ruzhansky and Magdalena Stisyak performed well in attack. Helpless Koreans scored only one point! Byalo-Chervony finished the first game with a blockade.
The second set was great for the Polish women from the start. After Stysiak’s attack, the advantage was six points (16:10). Rivals were not going to take the set without a fight. Hwang Minkyoung successfully attacked and it was a 6-6 draw.

On Thursday, Poland will play with the Dominican Republic. In other Group B meetings on Wednesday, Thailand won 3-0 against Croatia, while Turkey defeated the Dominican Republic 3-2.
