Great success for Jan Zelinsky. He defended his title at the ATP 250 in Metz.

In the final of the Moselle Open, the Poland-Monaco duet met Fin Harri Heliovaar and Briton Lloyd Glasspool. This pair was seeded under the second starting number in this tournament. Unsurprisingly, they were favorites, but Jan Zielinski and Hugo Nys proved once again that they were unrivaled on the hard courts in Metz.

The 25-year-old Pole and his partner a few years older fought a fierce and equal fight with the Finnish-British duo. Lucky for them, victorious. They approached the match in a sensational way, smashing their opponents in the second set, thanks to which they took a 3-0 lead. With the score at 5:3, when it seemed that they were about to miss, there was an unexpected turn. Harry Heliovaara and Lloyd Glasspool won four games in a row, and the tie-break was supposed to decide the fate of this game.

Ultimately, the set ended as the Pole and Monaco had planned. They were more cool-headed and ended up winning 7-5. The second batch was also balanced. The breakthrough came only in the ninth installment. Tennis duo Poland-Monakia used the second break-point and took the lead 5:4. After some time, he kept his pass, beating already defeated opponents to zero, and for the whole game 7:6 (7-5), 6:4.
