The Children of Africa Foundation turns to a teenager from Angola for help. The girl suffers from a huge abscess in her mouth. Only specialized surgery can help her. We need big money.
After an unsuccessful fall in 2020, Christina began to complain of pain in her lower jaw, which worsened over time. Girl’s parents could not afford diagnosis and treatment in a professional hospital. So they used the only available form of help that the shaman offered. However, the “therapy” he proposed did not bring any results, and the teenager’s condition worsened.
Huge jaw abscess prevents the girl from functioning normally
Professional diagnostics became possible only thanks to Mexican missionaries. Doctors discovered a jaw abscess in Christina. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was made at a time when the disease was already very advanced. the change has grown to monstrous proportions. It is so large that it distorted the girl’s face and prevented her from functioning normally. In this situation, the only possible treatment is complex surgery, which cannot be performed in Angola. The operation was undertaken by doctors from Poland.
“Our actions were immediate. After reviewing the medical history, the surgeons of the Regional Specialized Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn decided without hesitation to perform a craniofacial operation on Kristina, waiving the fee,” emphasizes Maria Wisniewska, a nurse in the ophthalmology department of the Regional Specialized Hospital in Olsztyn. Olsztyn, who is in charge of the entire operation.
Unfortunately, the operation requires a lot of money. More than PLN 150,000 is needed. The Children of Africa Foundation, wishing to help Kristina, launched a collection on the portal siepomaga.pl. The collected funds will be used to transport the teenager and cover the costs of all medical procedures necessary in the course of treatment. You can support the Kristina fundraiser at siepomaga.pl. Currently, 111,000 people are missing. PLN (at 21:30 May 17).
