If we decide to prepare a rowan tincture, we must remember that collect fruits from the cleanest place. You should not collect it, for example, in the center of a busy city. The best and purest fruits can be found in the forests. You should also remember not to consume more than 25g of tincture per day. Rowan tinctures should not be drunk by pregnant women and children.

There are a lot of recipes for making rowan. Among the additions to it are, among other things, dried mountain ash, lemon juice, raisins, dates and roses.

For a delicious rowan with lemon, you will need ingredients such as:

  • 5 glasses of rowan fruits;
  • 2 glasses of alcohol;
  • 2 glasses of boiled water;
  • juice squeezed from 1 lemon;
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest;
  • 2 cups sugar

Cooking method. Step by step:

  • Put the peeled fruit in the freezer for at least a day.
  • After this time, take them out, scald them on a sieve with boiling water and dry them.
  • Put the rowan fruits in a jar.
  • Add sugar, lemon juice and zest to the rowan.
  • Dilute 2 cups of alcohol in 2 cups of boiled water. Pour the fruit with the resulting liquid.
  • We leave the mountain ash for 3 weeks in a warm place.
  • After 3 weeks, we filter our tincture (for example, through gauze) and bottle it.
  • We keep rowan for six months in a cool and dark room.
