More than 30 drugs were withdrawn from the market. These include drugs for hypertension, cardiac, hormonal, antiviral, antiallergic, painkillers and neurological drugs. The decision on this issue was issued by the chairman of the Office for Registration of Medicines.
The Supreme Pharmaceutical Chamber has published a list of more than 30 drugs with a reduced period of authorization for release into circulation. The list includes both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. This includes drugs used to treat hypertension and heart failure, hormonal drugs, antiviral drugs, for allergies, pain relievers, neurological drugs used to treat symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, and antibiotics.
