Movie fans are slowly gearing up for a busy fall movie season. One of the most intriguing films coming out this November is a film about the Korean War. Devotion starring Jonathan Majors as well as Glen Powell. Sony Pictures has just released a new high-flown trailer for the film, and with it, they’ve also released a new poster teasing the action-packed adventure.
The poster shows wingmen Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner (Majors and Powell respectively) in flight gear, their images hovering over an arctic dogfight. Film based on real events and Adam Macos The book of the same name follows Brown and Hudner, two elite Navy fighter pilots caught in the middle of the Korean War, whose sacrifices “eventually make them the Navy’s most famous wingmen.” The poster is a great follow-up to the new trailer, featuring an epic war film based on the brave friendship of two pilots.
Devotion could not come out at a better time with brilliant success Top Shooter: Maverick this summer, in which Powell also starred as a naval aviator. Bye Devotion is a much more serious film, touching on topics such as racial bias against Brown Major, the film has a lot of meaningful material to work with from Makos’ book, and appears to be supported by Major and Powell’s charming chemistry, taking advantage of two talented leading men who have come off the success of both Powell’s appearances Maverickas well as major rotations in both Lovecraft Countryas well as entering the MCU as Kang the Conqueror in Marvel’s Loki series.
Devotion about to fall into the heart of a crowded movie of the month, battling films like Steven SpielbergX legends and Disney Strange worldbut moviegoers always love a good war movie. This is perhaps one of the most popular genres in the medium. This movie will sell easily with action that looks absolutely breathtaking and a cast that has a lot of big names. Along with Majors and Powell, the war epic also starred Christina Jackson, Thomas Sadoskias well as Joe Jonas. According to the entertainment trailers, the director JD Dillard he might have the genre’s next mega-hit in his hands.
