During the current day, the Russians launched 35 air strikes, all air targets were shot down by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Recall that the enemy used kamikaze drones to attack Kyiv.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy also made 16 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, in particular, hit the children’s hospital in Kherson. The shelling was also experienced by the settlements of the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkov regions.
The Rashists, who lost 760 soldiers killed in the previous day alone, continue to attempt offensive operations in the Bakhmut and are trying to improve the tactical situation in the Kupyansky, Limansky and Avdeevsky directions. On the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhia directions, the enemy is on the defensive, and on the Kherson he will regroup his troops.
In the Bakhmut direction, districts of more than 15 settlements, in particular, Disputed, Soledar, Bakhmut and Mayorsk, suffered from fire from various-caliber artillery. The situation is similar in the Zaporozhye direction.
In the Kherson region, the civilian infrastructure of the settlements of Gavrilovka, Dudchany, Kachkarovka, Republican, Berislav, Lvov, Ivanovka, Ingulets, Inzhenernoye, Antonovka and Kherson suffered.
“In order to destabilize the humanitarian situation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region and force the local population to the so-called voluntary evacuation, the Russian occupation troops are firing mortars at Oleshki, Holaya Pristan, Plavnye, as well as summer cottages between the indicated settlements. Mobilization measures continue in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea. The military commissariats have begun checking the lists of people who have not yet participated in a large-scale invasion of Ukraine and are subject to conscription for mobilization in 2023.- noted in the General Staff.
And in the temporarily occupied Lugansk region, the Russians continue to use civilian institutions for the needs of the occupiers. So, in the city of Pervomaisk, Alchevsk district, Luhansk region, a “field hospital” was deployed in the premises of a local school. There are currently about 100 infidels there. And in the local maternity hospital, more than 150 wounded mercenaries of the Wagner PVK are being treated.
During the day, Ukrainian aviation delivered 13 strikes on areas where the invaders were concentrated, and our rocket and artillery units hit 2 areas where the enemy’s manpower and military equipment were concentrated.
Recall that according to official data, by the morning of January 1, the loss of personnel of the Russian army amounted to 106,720 servicemen.
