On Thursday, November 24, in the Krasnodar Territory, a 66-year-old resident of Krymsk fired on the street. He killed three people, severely wounded another, and then committed suicide. The police believe that the cause of the bloodshed could be the loser of the divorce proceedings.
Several Russian Telegram channels published the video. It shows how a man with a gun in his hands is firing at people on the street. The weapon is wrapped in some kind of cloth, which makes it difficult to determine its type.
The prosecutor’s office of the Krasnodar Territory confirmed that an unknown person opened fire near the Slavyansky shopping center in Krymsk.
The shooter was later identified. It turned out to be 66-year-old Vladimir Zhirov. On the morning of November 24, he lost a property dispute in court with his ex-wife. Obviously, the court decision was influenced by the testimony of witnesses. They knew Zhirov and his ex-wife. They became victims. The woman was rescued by a mall security guard.
As a murder weapon, Zhirov used a VPO-209 smoothbore carbine. He had a hunting license.
