Sci-fi thriller directed by Josh Hutcherson And Morgan Freeman is a time travel story with an unexpected twist, based on the short story Lucifer by author EC Tabb. Interestingly, while recent time travel stories have used this concept to explore the multiverse in the superhero or drama genre, Kundiff’s story seems to focus on the hero traveling back in time for personal gain as well as seeking revenge.

The trailer introduces us to Franklin Hutcherson, who was given the chance to interview tech mogul Freeman Anton Burrell. Although by coincidence, he ends up preventing an attack on Burrell and finds the ring he accidentally dropped. This ring is able to return a person 57 seconds back in time. With Burrell’s help, Franklin decides to get revenge on the pharmaceutical company responsible for the death of his sister and many others.

What 57 seconds ABOUT?

The feature looks exciting and action packed. The tale of a tech blogger taking down a drug company with the help of a tech genius provides ample opportunity for the story to take its own twists and turns, however things don’t go as planned as time travel begins to take its toll on Franklin’s relationships and things take a turn for the worse as he sets off a horrific chain of events, “pushing him into a pulsating battle for survival where every second counts.”

Kundiff has several horror and comedy films such as Tales from the Hood franchise, Fear of the black hatAnd Show Chappelle which makes it suitable to help the thriller. Speaking about the project, he previously shared, “Today, we have tools at our fingertips that allow us to respond to events in the moment, reducing our time to reflect and consider the consequences. 57 Seconds explores how emotions influence the innate human desire to solve problems quickly with technology, whether it’s a gun, a tablet, or a computer.”

He co-wrote the screenplay with Macon Blair And V the feature is rated R for depicting violence. Along with the aforementioned star cast, the film also features Catch Simon, Greg Germann, Bevin Brew, Sammy Rotibi, Mark Jacobson, D. A. Obahor, David Callaway, AJ Rome, Kenneth Kint Bryan, Matthew Jason Quern And Marcus Brown. With amazing talent behind the camera 57 seconds this is one feature that you should pay attention to.
