IN Outlander, love is subjected to great trials. Without him, some of our favorite characters would have nothing to fight for, die for, or travel through time. If Claire (Katrina Balfe) did not fall in love with Jamie (Sam Heughan), she would go through the rocks, returning to Frank in the 1940s. Outlander would end before it even started.
Among all the plots, battles and survival in both the 18th and 20th centuries, there is always room for romance. With every new release that hits the best characters Outlander, their romantic relationship is only getting stronger. Their love survives even though they are centuries apart.
10 “Monsters and Heroes” - Season 5, Episode 9
Monsters & Heroes doesn’t start off well. The snake bites Jamie and the venom slowly kills him. Claire won’t help much this time. She has never experienced venomous bites. She is afraid to amputate Jamie’s leg, but makes the larvae eat the dead flesh.
Jamie would rather die than lose his leg, but Claire will do anything to save him. That night, Jamie asks Claire to touch him. After Jamie is healed, he admits that he had the choice to die, but he didn’t. That’s why he asked Claire to touch him. She saved his life. Dead or alive, he will always love her.
9 “The Company We Support” - season 5, episode 4
IN Outlander Season 5 Episode 4 RogerRichard Rankin) deals with the police, and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) doing household chores. She makes sure everyone is safe if Stephen BonnetEd Speleers) decides to pay a visit. Meanwhile, Claire and Jamie try to meet with the police but are busy taking care of Fanny (Bronwyn James) Baby.
Jamie is thrilled to see Claire with the baby because he has never seen her with Bree. When they get to Roger’s party, Jamie suggests they adopt a child so they can finally be parents together. Claire says she loves Jamie even more for suggesting the idea, but refuses and admits that their life together is wonderful.
8 “American Beauty” - season 4, episode 1
Life in America doesn’t start well, but Claire and Jamie make it. All the deaths that have occurred make Claire afraid that she will lose Jamie at any moment. Jamie tells her a moving story about how he died after she left him in Culloden but still loved her.
He tells her one of the most romantic things: “When my body dies, my soul will still be yours. Nothing is lost, Sassenach, only changed.” They then share a moment of intense intimacy. The couple later celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary. Claire becomes emotional and they share a moment of tears together. It is clear that Claire will stay with Jamie forever.
7 “Depression” - Season 3, Episode 9
Earlier, Jamie tells Claire that they are connected for life. However, he vows to take her to the stones if she wants to return. They are focused on rescuing Yang (John Bell) and went to Jamaica. However, they are not the only couple on board. Fergus (Cesar Domboy) brings Marsali (Lauren Lyle), hoping that Jamie will bless their upcoming wedding. This causes some awkwardness.
Meanwhile, Jamie fears that something will cause Claire to return to her own time. Although her return is confusing and disappointing, Claire assures him that the question of whether she loves him was never raised. Despite all the bad omens, the couple is lucky to be together.
6 “Fiery Cross” - Season 5, Episode 1
The wedding episode is always romantic. One of the best moments in Brianna and Roger’s life is their wedding. Jamie helps Roger get ready, gives him a ring for Bree, and makes sure Bree has something old, new, borrowed, and blue. He worries about betraying her even though they don’t know each other well yet. Claire, who made Bree’s dress, comforts him.
The couple’s wedding is touching and evokes emotions in everyone. As Roger and Bree recite their sincere vows, Claire and Jamie reminisce about reciting their own. The wedding isn’t perfect, but all of our favorite characters are happy together.
5 “Uncharted” - Season 3, Episode 11
Uncharted is one of the most romantic episodes Outlander because Claire and Jamie are having another epic reunion. Claire survives by being stranded on an island off Jamaica to warn Jamie of a trap waiting for him in Jamaica. Fortunately, Father Fogden (Nick Fletcher) saves her, and they are bound by love for their spouses.
In the end, Claire races back to the shore, from where the boat sets off again. She manages to signal Jamie and they are reunited. They share a romantic kiss and Jamie voices his fears that he has lost her again. After they convince the priest to marry Fergus and Marsali in a touching wedding.
4 “Lallybroch” - Season 1, Episode 12
After Claire decides to stay with Jamie in the 1700s, they travel to Jamie’s family home, Lallybroch. The laird of Broch-Tuarach appears. Jamie blames his sister JennyLaura Donnelly) having illegitimate children and further offends her and her husband Jan (Stephen Cree) mismanagement. It’s a difficult homecoming, but Claire offers support and warns that she won’t be like the other girls.
She also talks to her husband. He is not his father; the estate is now owned by him and Claire. When things calm down, Claire realizes that she belongs. Jamie knew all along that she belonged in Lallybroch with him. The couple says “I love you” for the first time. Memories of FrankTobias Menzies) fades even more.
3 “A. Malcolm - Season 3, Episode 6
“A. Malcolm evokes a lot of feelings. After five excruciatingly long episodes filled with time jumps on both sides of the rocks, Claire and Jamie are reunited eagerly. Their first kiss in 20 years is incredibly romantic. Jamie, who went through hell during their separation, admits to imagining Claire many times and getting burned by her.
They catch up and discover that they are the same people they were when they “were one”. They slowly undress each other like their first night together and make love. this is the sexiest scene Outlander. Claire promises never to leave Jamie again.
2 “Mark of the Devil” - season 1, episode 11.
“Mark of the Devil” is one of the most emotional episodes of the series. Outlander. Claire and GeillisLotte Verbeck) endure a harrowing witch trial that results in Geillis getting a one-way ticket to a barbecue. Claire later reveals the truth to Jamie. They then arrive at Craig na Dun instead of Castle Leoch.
If the witch trial is any indication, Jamie will fight and die for Claire. However, the real test of his love comes when he gives Claire the opportunity to return home. He selflessly wants to give Claire what she truly wants, even if it means giving up on her. Unsurprisingly, Claire decides to stay and tells a heartbroken Jamie to take her home to Lallybroch. This is the first time Claire chose Jamie over Frank.
1 “The Wedding” - Season 1, Episode 7
Most romantic episode Outlander Season 1, Episode 7, “The Wedding”. How can an arranged marriage that has become semi-amorous not be romantic? In a flashback, Dougal convinces Jamie to marry Claire in order to protect her from Randall’s Black Jack. Claire worries that they barely know each other, but their closeness quickly grows.
After the wedding, the newlyweds communicate, telling stories about their lives until late at night. They consummate their marriage, but Claire feels like a bigamist and an adulteress. However, Jamie’s memories of that day move her. “It’s like I went outside on a cloudy day and suddenly the sun came out,” he said. Suddenly, Claire succumbs to Jamie. Love blossoms.
